About Radiology Prime
Radiology Prime is a specialist neuroradiology second-opinion service. Patients who have had brain, spine, or head and neck MRI or CT imaging can submit their study for an independent sub-specialty review by our Clinical Lead, a European-registered consultant neuroradiologist, with a structured report delivered within 24 hours.
Why we built this
Radiology Prime exists because patients who’ve had a brain, spine, or head and neck MRI or CT often want more than the report their imaging provider gave them. Not because the original report was wrong, but because the findings matter, and a second sub-specialty read can add context and structured framework scoring that the original may not have applied explicitly.
Neuroradiology is a demanding sub-specialty. A patient facing a suspected MS diagnosis, a brain tumour workup, a dementia assessment, an incidental aneurysm, or a surgery decision for Chiari malformation is usually weighing long-term consequences. Those decisions benefit from imaging reviewed by a sub-specialist applying the same frameworks the treating team works from.
We chose to build a specialist neuroradiology service rather than a generalist radiology platform on purpose. We would rather do one sub-specialty well, with a named reviewing radiologist and an honest scope, than spread thin across every body region. The depth is the point.
How the service is organised
All radiology review work is performed by our Clinical Lead, a consultant radiologist (Facharzt für Radiologie) with a sub-specialty focus in neuroradiology and over ten years of senior experience, formerly Chief Resident in Neuroradiology at University Hospital Freiburg. How we handle your data
Your images are handled securely. Uploads are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest (AES-256). All imaging is stored on EU-based infrastructure certified to recognised information-security standards. Only our Clinical Lead accesses the imaging, and only for the case assigned to her. Frequently asked questions
A second opinion may provide a different view of your MRI or CT scan. Imaging studies are complex and can be interpreted in more than one way, especially when considered alongside your symptoms and medical history. In some cases, another review may point out subtle findings that are worth discussing further with your treating doctor before making decisions about treatment.

Follow-up questions are welcome after your report is delivered. If clarification is needed, you may submit questions to the radiologist who performed your review. This process is designed to help address outstanding points and support discussion with your treating physician.

Our second opinions are prepared by senior radiologists trained at leading institutions in Switzerland, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Collectively, they interpret more than 7,000 imaging studies per year. Many are members of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), reflecting active engagement in their professional field.
We provide a comprehensive clinical report written for your treating physicians, along with a clear plain-language summary. This approach is designed to help you better understand the reasoning behind the imaging findings while supporting discussion with your doctor.
